Surprises

I have been very blessed this last month with quite a few surprises. The first is when my new blog friend April, volunteered to make a new header for me. You can see it above. I love it, I think she did a great job making my blog layout, look more "me". So Thank You so much April!! Then as if that wasn't enough, she then bestowed on my the following awards.

Then, I won my first blog give-away! Laura at Decor To Adore, has started Freebie Friday. And I won one of her adorable rings. But here is the extra fun part, It came in an adorable little bag filled with sweets and other treats.
And when I asked her if she had any rings that would fit my daughters that I could buy from her. She added two to the mix. (I can't put a picture of them on yet, they are part of a Christmas Gift.) So Thank you, Laura! I love getting fun treats in the mail.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than that, the very next day, I won this adorable, handmade bag, from Mikki (I borrowed the picture, off of her blog, because it hasn't gotten here quite yet.)
And, you won't believe this one, the luck continued. Now, I appreciate all of the wonderful gifts above, but I think you will all agree that this is the best surprise of the group: When MBC was opening some mail a couple days ago, he found this in our Gas Bill, Yes, that is a negative balance. Apparently, in our last house we were on a plan, where they averaged the last years use and we payed the same amount every month. Well, because we moved before the end of the year and we moved before heater season, they pro rated what we had used against what we had paid- and credited our account. How cool is that?! This month was free and most of next months will be too!!!! Now that is what I call something to be thankful for!
