I realize that I haven't posted much this week. The move got us a bit behind in school, which has been #1 priority around here, and I have the pictures to prove it, here is what my school room looks like right now.
How does that happen? It looked great a week ago. Then I find a box of books that didn't get unpacked. The kids have a rebellious, don't want to clean up after school, day. I wake up with a sinus cold, and here you have it. Ugghhh.
At least I have one area of the house that still looks decent.
My china hutch is all set up.
I even displayed "Princess'" Peter Rabbit Tea Set. She thinks that's cool.
And I have my china, and crystal all displayed.
( I got that Angel from the ladies in my ward [church congregation] in Illinois. It reminds me of them)
I found these cute little cups and plates at my local thrift store. All four of them are the same pattern in a different color.
And my dining room table is useable. At least something around here is clean.
See the big smile on his face? He's smiling because I didn't take a picture of all the dishes in the sink!

I know what you mean about not having time to post. Your hutch looks lovely. Maybe when I get things set up, I'll take some pictures here as well. Beautiful day today in Maryland!
Oh sweet Shimmy. Yes, I've missed you! I know you must be the busiest one with the move and the kiddoes. I love your china cabinet and you have it looking so pretty. I love your Battenburg lace runners. I just love lacey things! With children it's hard to keep everything in it's place. I do remember the day. lol
Now, I knew you were a pretty little thing, but you've always been hiding behind your camera and in your Bathroom shot, you were a little far away. Now I'm seeing this new picture of you and honey, you're an absolute knockout! You're so beautiful and I love that picture. I'm so glad you've come out of hiding and are gracing Blogland with your beautiful presence!

Housework--what's that? Seriously, my place looks like a bomb went off--five minutes after havin tidied it up no less! Why bother?
I have cannon balls shooting off, and grenades -- I must because I have dis-array everywhere.

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. I have been in my house for a year now and I just found a box a couple of days ago that had some things I had been looking for. Your house looks great. You are still doing better then I did when I moved in. It took me a long time to get things put together, your house is a lot bigger then mine and I wasn't doing home school! Wow I am a slacker I got to get cleaning! ;0)

I love the lace in your hutch, and I'm still so impressed with how much you ARE doing. It doesn't bother me at all that it's not all pulled together. You are on top of a LOT!
